Over TWO hours late...I want my money back!
I decided to give Ms Molly Santana a chance knowing that the risk could potentially outweigh the reward. A few of my friends told me not to waste my time or money, that she wouldn't show or show very late. I was wrong!
On a Sunday night, the 8:30pm show time on the ticket turned into her getting on stage at 10:50pm. The opening acts tried to keep the crowd entertained, but the delay caused anxiety and restlessness among the audience. People became agitated as she started late and had lengthy discussions with her stage/sound person between every song, making the atmosphere uncomfortable. The prolonged wait and constant interruptions negatively impacted the energy in the crowd, leading to rows of people leaving mid-set. It was unprecedented. I left early as well, unprepared to be out so late with work the next morning. This lack of consideration for the audience tarnished the experience despite her talent as an artist. I demand a refund.
